A piece of advice I WISH I would have gotten as a first-year teacher--go through and organize your special education (evaluations, IEPs, Behavior Plans, etc) files by due dates, classroom accommodations, and testing accommodations. By year three, I implemented a system where I organized my information into central hubs. A well-designed caseload spreadsheet serves as a teacher's organizational hub throughout the school year. It enables case managers to proactively monitor student needs, communicate effectively with team members, and ensure that all IEP requirements are implemented consistently. By organizing information in a clear and accessible format, teachers can spend less time managing paperwork and more time supporting student learning and success.

My second piece of advice--give these spreadsheets to the inclusion teacher! Give them classroom and testing accommodations spreadsheet! This enables teachers to quickly review the reference spreadsheet as they are planning.

Ultimately, this tool will ensure consistent implementation, state and federal compliance, and clear communication!
